On a cool, breezy day
I sit near a window and sway
Watching the leaves, the butterflies and the flowers play
And a buzzing bee trying to find its way
The Portia tree and a plantain
deck up the view outside my window pane
And that tranquil aura, I gain
I find the best tree view from the first floor
Where from the tree trunk, the branches grow
And spread in breadth
Rooting its faith
In the tree trunk growing from the ground beneath
Gratitude is the feeling of the day
And mesmerized I stay
